A Comparative Study of Chinese and Foreign Graduate Education

Abstract：Postgraduate education is an important educational training mode in China and it delivered a lot of
talents in various industries.This paper fTirst introduced the meaning of postgraduate education and
types of training models,then introduced the training patterns in different historical periods,mainly
elaborated initial period, regularization period and transition period. Finally by a comparison among
Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom the authors introduced their postgraduate educational training
model, and noted its inspiration.
