Study on Integrative Education of College Students’Mental Health Based on Dual-factor Model

Abstract:A two-factor and five-module curriculum system is constructed, which includes eliminating psychological
problems and cultivating positive psychological qualities based on the dual-factor theory. Meanwhile, relevant
mobile app software is developed to modularize knowledge and facilitate students acquisition. Then, integrated
teaching is carried out for different types of students in the form of curriculum plus. That is to say, the course of
positive mental health education and psychological quality training for college students is offered to all students
to popularize general knowledge, and each student chooses corresponding contents to form a self-selected menu
in the course system according to the teachers guidance and his own actual situation to realize differentiated
teaching. It not only meets the need of popularizing mental health knowledge, but also eliminates psychological
problems according to the actual situation of different students, cultivates positive psychological quality, and truly
realizes the three-level goals of prevention, treatment and development in school mental health education.
