Analysis of Crop Straw’s Application and Development in Building Materials

Abstract：This paper introduced the development history of crop straw being used as building materials in foreign
countries, analyzed the features of the straw material, expounded the advantages of straw materials, including
natural, renewable, zero-emission, low-energy, highly heat-insulated features. Being able to provide people
with sustainable living environment and meet their psychological need of being close to nature is the new
developing direction for future building materials.
