New Thoughts on the Design of Hippo Hall in the Zoo

Abstract：The animal house is an important home and main activity place for captive animals in the
zoo. The construction of the house directly affects the living standards of the animals. In the
design process of the zoo building, it is necessary to fully understand the animals habits,
and then carry out the design planning work. Based on the idea of ecologicalization, we
will build a hippo building, and strive to be ecologically prioritized and animal-oriented.
Using existing gardening techniques, we will integrate architecture, landscape architecture,
animal behavior, animal psychology and other disciplines to make the zoo pavilion design
meet the requirements of sustainable development and animal physiological and
psychological needs. One of the challenges facing the design work.
