Abstract:In recent years, people-to-people diplomacy plays an increasingly significant role in China’s foreign exchanges.
Especially under the tense political and economic environment, the people-to-people exchange environment
represented by education is still stable. Among that, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities
has a close international exchange relation and a solid foundation for mutual communication with China.
Meanwhile, as one of the six core non-governmental organizations in the American education field.,it has a
long history and sound management. Therefore, studying the organization and exchange model of American
international exchanges is helpful to improve the effectiveness of cooperation and exchanges in Chinas non-
governmental international education exchange institutions in the context of people-to-people diplomacy.
