Abstract：From the beginning of the founding myth, China started the great creation activity of creation and symbol
of belief, and there are corresponding creation (design) metaphors in the spread of the myth. Founding myth
wisdom that is around with content, has become the design prototype genes of Chinese design, this kind
of system has difference with design derived from western text on the original meaning. Chinese creation
seeking the double fusion of spirit and matter, and the design is more intuitive expression function and
technology. Although they both consider the creation of human as symbol memory, founding myth shows
the translation of cosmic cycle, material symbols and textual text”. Moreover, it has the transmission
value of inheriting the common memory of human life currently. Therefore, it is necessary to re-examine the
cultural gene radiated by the creation myth so that it can continuously spread Chinas creational wisdom
within the scope of time and space.
