Abstract:The planning and design of the zoo needs to be faithful to three physical objects. Animals are the partners of the designer; tourists, administrators, breeders, and employees can be said to be the employers of the designer; the environment is the designers customer. The development of the zoo has experienced barbaric exhibitions such as shackles, chains, iron cages and pits. So far, the old-style cage exhibition has been gradually rid of. The natural and immersive design has become popular and it is trying to bring visitors into the field environment. Most domestic urban zoos were built in the 1950s and 1960s, and now they are facing problems such as outdated facilities, imperfect education service systems, and poor management systems. The Lion Pavilion is an important home and main activity venue for captive animals in the zoo. The construction of the Lion Pavilion directly affects the living standards of animals. The design of the lion building should be based on lions, combining the lions habits and natural environment, considering the actual requirements of the lions for climate and environment, and setting the location, size and facilities of the lions in an ecological and scientific way to create a rational and ecological environment. And the economical lion room space.
