Efficiency Improvement in Freedom under Constraint and Supervision in the Teaching Scenario

Abstract：For the viewpoint put forward by some scholars that the application of AI big data analysis (such as expression,
body language, handwriting and voice and other relevant analysis) to the education field makes students fall into
the “panopticon” trap designed by Bentham, this paper discusses the rationality of the application of big data
technology in education intelligence. This paper believes that teaching scenario and learning scenario are two
different teaching scenarios! The teaching state refers to the transfer of a part of freedom rights (including a part
of freedom and privacy rights) by default in return for the possibility of knowledge acquirement, which is the
acquirement at some sacrifice; the learning state is free from such constraint and restriction, instead, it means
that subjective wish sides who acquire knowledge acquire directional knowledge freely and proactively without
transferring their freedom rights in the process. The application scenario of the big data analysis in smart education
is only limited to the teaching scenario, having nothing to do with right infringement or the panopticon theory.
