Research and Practice of Cross-cultural Teaching of International Medical Students from the Perspective of Academy System

Abstract:Under the background of multicultural international education, international medical students have become an
important group of higher education in China. At present, there are still some problems in the cross- cultural
learning of medical students in China, such as the overall low level of students Chinese ability, teachers
weak cross-cultural communication ability, and imperfect teaching evaluation system. Based on the practical
experience of academy system-based education in Weifang Medical University, this paper puts forward practical
strategies for cross-cultural teaching of foreign medical students, exerts the role of academy system in
educating students, and promotes the process of assimilation between foreign medical students and medical
undergraduates in China.
