Abstract：This paper, by focusing on the construction of application-oriented computer science and technology major, first
analyzes the challenges faced by computer science and technology major, then taking the computer and technology
major of South China Business College Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (SCBC) as an example,
discusses the exemplary major construction goal for the computer science and technology application-oriented
talent training, and finally describes the exemplary major construction and implementation of the computer
science and technology application-oriented talent training from the aspects of talent training scheme, optimization
of course system, construction of faculty team, student ability training, construction of practical teaching system,
curriculum reform and school-enterprise cooperation.
