Present Situation of Overseas Medical Students’ Class Attendance and Its Effect on Teaching Quality

Abstract:Objective: This survey aims to explore the relationship between the class attendance of the overseas students
and the teaching quality, and to analyze and solve the problem of low overseas students class attendance.
Methods: Based on the current situation of the teaching management of overseas students and taking medical
students as survey subjects, we conducted a questionnaire survey. This paper analyzed the relationship
between the class attendance of overseas students and teaching quality, and provided advice on solving the
problems of low class attendance and teaching management. Results: The data shows that the higher the
absence rate is, the lower the academic performance of overseas students will be. The generally low class
attendance rate, while influencing the forming of academic atmosphere, reduces the teaching quality of
the School of International Education. Conclusion: Class attendance is an important index to measure the
education quality of overseas students.
