The Enlightenment of Finland,s "Phenomenon Teaching" to the Teaching of Basic Education in China

Abstract:The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), held by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), has become an important international test for evaluating the effectiveness of basic education system. Finland, as a small Nordic country, has been able to overwhelm many developed countries in Europe and the United States and stand out in PISA tests over the years. Through literature analysis, our study combs the background and development of Finnish basic education reform.These aspects are worthy of our country to learn from in the new round of curriculum reform.
