Abstract:As a backward region in Chinas economic development, Guizhou province has problems such as too little R&D investment in high-tech industries, low efficiency of independent research and development, and low enthusiasm for technological innovation. Based on relevant data of high-tech industry in Guizhou province from 2009 to 2015, we studied the influence of government R&D subsidies on enterprises R&D investment and innovation efficiency. The result shows that government R&D funding has a negative impact on enterprises R&D investment and innovation efficiency, and there is no crowding out effect on enterprises R&D funding. On the contrary, government R&D funding has a guiding and promoting effect on enterprises R&D investment.
