Abstract:To promote Chinese tea culture to the world under the “One Belt One Road” strategy, China needs to train skilled
personnel for tea trade. For a long time, local agricultural colleges and universities have accumulated much
successful experience in training skilled personnel for tea trade, but there are also problems such as the lack of
cultural experience, creative ideas, and brand awareness among students. The main reason is the lack of both
training programs in universities and cross-cultural communication literacy in tea science. Therefore, to cultivate
the compound innovative talent with merits, skills, and expertise, to meet the strategic requirements of “One Belt
One Road,” universities should focus on implementing integrated teaching, teaching about the culture of trading
nations, and implementing a “dual mentor system.”
